Rockwell's America: Celebration   11/1/2008 through 3/1/2009
Step back in time and see America through the eyes of one of its most recognized and loved artists, Norman Rockwell. Touch, feel, and see how Americans lived in the early to mid 1900s as you explore life-sized re-creations of Rockwell's famous Saturday Evening Post magazine covers. The world's largest Norman Rockwell exhibit - and the only interactive one- was created by Baltimore-based The Becker Group.

Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium   11/21/2008 through 1/3/2009
Turn up the wattage on your holiday season with Wildlights at the Zoo, presented by AEP. Brighter and "greener" than ever, this favorite family tradition is back with a whole new look. Thanks to AEP's support, the Zoo converted half of its three million lights into more eco-friendly LED lights.

Don't miss the Wildlights Model Train Railway in Mrs. Claus' Kitchen. With more interactive features, animation and a real steam whistle, this railway is sure to delight! Visitors can jump into the engineer's seat Monday through Thursday evenings.

Get your picture taken with Santa and finish your holiday shopping at the Zoo's Market Place and Jungle Jack Hanna's Adventure Store. Don't worry about the cold, we have indoor animal exhibits to keep you warm all night and enough hot chocolate to quench an elephant's thirst!

Holidays at the Conservatory   11/28/2008 through 1/4/2009
Continuing the tradition of the season, hundreds of colorful poinsettias of many varieties and the annual poinsettia tree will create holiday spirit and make a great backdropo for this year's family holiday photo. Lighted evergreens of different varieties provided by the Ohio Christmas Tree Association will be on display both indoors and out. Candlelight Nights, held from 5-8pm on Dec. 10 & 17, feature the conservatory aglow with hundreds of candles, and holiday entertainment in the grand atrium. The annual Gingerbread House Competition will be held with winning entries on display.

Dr. Tony's Original Ragtime Band   1/25/2009
One of only a handful of ragtime bands in the country, plays Ragtime! - simply the most popular music at the turn of the 20th century and the forerunner of jazz. Not to be confused with a Dixieland band, Dr. Tony's Original Ragtime Band is an 8-piece ensemle that plays the real thing: Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton, Eubie Blake, and others, plus the Tin Pan Alley hits of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and more. They bring the high-energy original American sound of dandy melodies and syncopated rhythms that no one can resist. 3pm.
